Etnobotani Jamu Gendong Berdasarkan Persepsi Produsen Jamu Gendong di Desa Karangrejo, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Â jenis ramuan jamu gendong yang diproduksi dan dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat serta khasiatnya, (2) jenis-jenis tanaman yang digunakan dalam pembuatan jamu gendong, serta (3) profil dan persepsi konsumen jamu gendong di Desa Karangrejo, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Karangrejo, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan wawancara semi terstruktur pada 30 produsen jamu gendong dan seorang tokoh masyarakat sebagai key informant. Terdapat 10 jenis ramuan jamu gendong di Desa Karangrejo yaitu, Beras kencur, Kunyit asam, Sinom, Cabe puyang, Pahitan, Kunci suruh, Kudu laos, Uyup-uyup/Gejahan, Temulawak, dan Sari rapet. Terdapat 22 spesies tanaman yang digunakan sebagai bahan jamu gendong yang diklasifikasikan dalam 14 familia. Masyarakat tetap gemar mengonsumsi jamu gendong, baik dari anak-anak sampai orang tua, karena jamu gendong masih dipercaya khasiatnya dan aman dikonsumsi. Oleh sebab itu, kebudayaan minum jamu tetap dilestarikan dalam rangka untuk melestarikan warisan budaya dan keragaman hayati lokal.
