Respon Tanaman Kentang Hitam (Solenostemon Rotundifolius) pada Berbagai Jumlah dan Frekuensi Pemberian Air

Air memiliki peran yang penting dalam kelangsungan hidup tanaman. Kentang hitam (Solenostemon rotundifolius) adalah bahan pangan yang cukup lama dikenal di Indonesia, akan tetapi tingkat kebutuhan airnya masih belum diketahui. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan terkait dengan kebutuhan air tersebut adalah tingkat ketersediaannya serta pendistribusiannya secara merata pada seluruh fase pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian untuk mempelajari dan memperoleh informasi tentang jumlah dan frekuensi pemberian air yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang hitam telah dilakukan di Greenhouse BLK Wonojati, Malang. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi, frekuensi pemberian air diletakkan sebagai petak utama, terdiri dari tiga macam yaitu pemberian air sehari sekali, dua hari sekali dan tiga hari sekali. Jumlah pemberian air sebagai anak petak, yaitu 300, 600, 900 dan 1200 mm musim-1. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara destruktif meliputi komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil. Uji F taraf 5% ditujukan untuk menguji pengaruh perlakuan, sedang perbedaan diantara rata-rata perlakuan didasarkan pada nilai BNT taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terjadi interaksi nyata pada parameter jumlah daun per tanaman pada umur 81 hst, luas daun, bobot kering daun, bobot kering total tanaman pada 27 hst dan Efisiensi Penggunaan Air (EPA), akan tetapi semua parameter panen tidak menunjukkan hasil yang nyata.References
