Eksplorasi Potensi ekowisata di Blitar
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Ekowisata merupakan suatu kegiatan wisata yang konsep utamanya difokuskan terhadap kelestarian sumberdaya pariwisata. Perjalanan ekowisata lebih difokuskan pada wisata alam yang bertanggung jawab dengan cara mengkonservasi lingkungan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap ekowisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus hingga Desember 2012 di kota dan Kabupaten Blitar. Potensi ekowisata dilakukan dengan cara eksplorasi langsung terhadap tempat-tempat wisata. Persepsi masyarakat dilakukan dengan cara wawancara semi terstruktur kepada narasumber dan demi kode etik para narasumber tidak berkenan disebutkan namanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Blitar memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai daerah ekowisata. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya Obyek Wisata yang ada di Blitar, yang meliputi Rambut Monte, Es Drop, Candi Penataran, Pantai Tambakrejo, Gong Kyai Pradah, dan lain-lain. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa masyarakat mengetahui potensi ekowisata di Blitar, selain itu mereka turut melestarikan dan mendukung pengembangan obyek-obyek ekowisata yang ada di Blitar.
